The Armidale Oncology Day Unit has a cancer Care Coordinator whose role is:

 

 To coordinate care between patients and health professionals and facilities.

Currently in this role, Helen Goodall receives referrals, makes appointments, and ensures all diagnostic tests/procedures are completed prior to the appointment.

 

 

 Provides women/men and their families with one consistent source of information and care throughout the treatment plan

 

 

 Acts as the principal liaison between you, your GP and your Oncology team.

 

 

 Coordinates all aspects of your care from diagnosis onwards.

 

 

 Can be an invaluable source of information regarding other support services for you and your family.
