Treatment: Aston’s ‘magic bullet’ hopes against cancer

The former head of pharmaceutical giant Mayne Pharma Group, Roger Aston, is hoping his latest venture, which started when a doctor with a hobby farm tested his sheep drench to find it had anti-cancer properties, has a “magic bullet” to treat the deadly disease. Dr Aston, speaking to The Australian from his castle in the Scottish Highlands, said PharmAust is focused on a new anti-cancer drug that lacks the toxic effect of chemotherapy.
