A Wollongong family has gained support from their local MP, Paul Scully, to take their petition for greater access to medicinal cannabis to parliament in its last sitting in June. It has more than 90,000 signatures and asks for supply to be made immediately available and at a realistic price. This follows questioning numerous doctors and specialists in NSW where nobody was able to guide them to a doctor who is authorised to prescribe medicinal cannabis. There is also a supply issue, despite the fact that the government has laid claims to quick and fast access for patients.
