The first company in Australia licensed to cultivate and manufacture medicinal cannabis is working at a closely guarded, top secret location on the Sunshine Coast. Medifarm founder Adam Benjamin said the company had invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in security to ensure the cannabis did not fall into the wrong hands. Cannabis oil, which is supported by international clinical evidence to treat medical conditions such as pain management, epilepsy and inflammatory diseases, is expected to roll out of the secure compound early next year.
